Most couples nowadays look for outdoor venues to make their weddings, mostly because outdoor weddings are really enjoyable and romantic, and also because everyone is just too tired of the traditional hotel weddings we all have been to at least 10 times in our lives. Just a few years ago finding an outdoor venue for your wedding was one hell of a tough job. However, this is not the case anymore. Outdoor venues are getting way more popular and available for most couples.
For this week’s wedding feature Nour and Alaa opted for an intimate, casual ceremony at Nut Lodge located in Ahmed Orabi. They planned a gorgeous outdoor-garden-themed party and the venue was just perfect for a backyard summer wedding. The lodge has a certain authentic air and a sense of eco-architecture to it, more like houses built in Fayoum but in Cairo. The lodge is painted brick-red with a charming backyard, which was set up for the wedding reception. The tables were decorated with colorful centerpieces and golden Coca-Cola bottles, slightly giving a whimsical touch to the whole setting.

As we can see from the pictures, captured by Mangawy Owes, Nour did her makeup session in the backyard right next to her room. Later, she put on her mermaid cut, sweetheart neckline, and lace embroidered dress with a ruffled train and went to surprise Alaa, as he finally got to see his beautiful bride in her stunning dress. Looking quite handsome himself, he wore a classic tux with a white jacket and a black bow tie. The couple’s photoshoot was captured in a wild garden surrounding the lodge, creating the most magical ambiance.
The time came for the wedding to start at around sunset, where the father of the bride walked his daughter along the pool to meet her groom. The true highlight of the night was when Nour’s father took her in his arms and then all of a sudden, lifted her up off the ground, and twirled her around on the dance floor!
